Who we are
Here's the deal, Callaway Baptist cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. Callaway Baptist is a family of individuals that have found new life in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same life change.
Where we come from
Callaway Baptist was started in September of 1910 under the Pine Mountain, GA Baptist association as Salone Baptist Church and the building was at the corner of Patillo Rd. & Greenville Rd. in LaGrange, GA. In 1920 a new building was built on the corner of Greenville Rd. & Callaway Church Rd. and the church was renamed Callaway Baptist. In January of 2000 the church purchased and paid in full for 49.57 acres of land 2 miles away on John Lovelace Rd. In October of 2003 the church built the current Family Life Building at 310 John Lovelace Rd. In 2007 the Greenville Rd. Church building was closed and sold. All worship gatherings were then held in the Family Life Building on the new property. In September 2010 the Callaway Baptist Sanctuary was built and opened for the 100th Celebration of the church. Callaway currently remains at this location.

What's the bottom line? More than ever, Callaway Baptist is committed to fostering a family built around new life. As we move forward as a church family, devotion and victory remain at the center of who we are as followers of Christ.
